Some of the unique features you’ll notice right away is the homey feel of the restaurant. Using a lot of reclaimed and reused materials from the old restaurant, they have given a modern look with the white walls, black chairs and minimalist décor yet warm up the room with the beautiful textures of the old barn wood panelling seen throughout the restaurant.
One of the unique elements to Chef Brad’s cuisine is that he endeavours to impart very pronounced flavours and spice, without the intense heat you would normally experience, the perfect flavours you want for first thing in the morning. Everything from the brines, the smoking, the sauces, everything they can they make in-house with their own unique twist. and their signature cocktails pair effortlessly with the menu and are sure to delight. My favourite is the Mom’s Breakfast with house-made red wine syrup with just the right amount of kick!
Why not start your day with their French Press coffees from Salt Spring Island coupled with the smoked salmon breakfast: French-style scrambled eggs, capers, chives, dill and goat cheese topped with fresh BC smoked salmon on a buttery croissant.
